AI Transparency
This page lists where HumanKey uses an AI model in features that customers or visitors see, and who sees each one.
Why this page exists. We publish this registry because we think anyone interacting with our platform should be able to see where AI is used, not because a rule compels this particular page. The EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689) Art. 50 allocates transparency duties between the provider and the deployer of an AI system; we publish this registry regardless of how that allocation falls. So rather than bury disclosure in a policy PDF, we publish this registry here and update it when these features change — so what we disclose matches what the platform does.
§How AI-generated text is marked in a machine-readable way
Text written by an AI model and shown to customers or visitors carries a marking that software can read, in addition to the visible labels shown to people. In API responses: an object named aiOutput next to the text, and the response header X-HK-AI-Generated. On pages: the attribute data-hk-ai-generated on the element that shows the text. In e-mails: the header X-HK-AI-Content and the same attribute on the generated passages. The value names the AI surface from the list on this page. Only text written by the model is marked; fixed messages and figures computed by our code are not. Where one response holds both generated and computed text, a separate field says which parts were generated. Limits: the marking sits next to the text, so it does not travel with text copied out of a page or forwarded as plain text, and it is not a signature.

HumanKey Assistant (chatbot)
Public conversational assistant answering product, pricing, and compliance questions. Responses are advisory only and subject to automated quality audits. EU AI Act Art. 50 transparency applies.
Client Insights (per-user weekly briefs)
Advisory briefs shown to Business+ customers. User-facing AI output with EU AI Act Art. 50 transparency disclosure; no legal or financial decision is taken solely on AI output (GDPR Art. 22 safeguard). Subject to automated quality audits on every run.
robots.txt Recommender (AI Magnet)
Suggests robots.txt directives based on a site's observed AI crawler activity. Advisory only — customers edit and deploy robots.txt themselves. EU AI Act Art. 50 transparency applies. Subject to automated quality audits on every run.
AI Bot Config Recommender (AI Magnet)
Suggests per-bot allow or deny configuration. Advisory only — changes applied only after explicit customer confirmation. EU AI Act Art. 50 transparency applies. Subject to automated quality audits on every run.
